“That’s so unique!”
That’s YOU. Your purpose is the center of attention because of your eye-popping presentation. It’s exactly what you deserve.

Creating that positive first impression is critical, and at a trade show or any LIVE event, you have very little time to actually distinguish yourself.
Telling your story quickly and effectively starts - simply - by eliminating those distracting ...

...ugly table legs.

Even though Tiana has told the story a million times she never gets tired of sharing it.

Friday August 9, 1991. Tiana was only 10 when her Dad took her to Fulton County Stadium for her very first Atlanta Braves baseball game. The Braves had finished in last place the year before, but there was an excitement about this year’s young team that was only 4.5 games back in the Division. Tiana remembered holding her Dad’s hand as they walked through the gates and into the stadium together, the smell of popcorn, peanuts, and hot dogs permeating the air.

In the 6th inning, with the Braves up 5-0 over the Houston Astros, Tiana’s Dad had a surprise. He led her out of their left field seats and around the concourse to the Team Store where she could pick out two special items. Tiana jumped with joy, thanked her Dad with a hug, and skipped away to search the aisles.

A few minutes later, Tiana came back with a Steve Avery jersey and a box of “On Base” baseball cards. The Steve Avery jersey made sense - he happened to be pitching that night and was only 21 years old - but Tiana’s Dad couldn’t quite understand the baseball cards. Sure, he collected cards when he was a kid, but only because they made a cool snapping sound in the spokes of his bike.

“Are you sure you don’t want a Braves hat instead?” Tiana’s Dad asked. “I’m sure, Dad. Can I open these packs now or do I have to wait until we get home?” Tiana said.

The Braves beat the Astros that night, 7-2, sparking a major run with Atlanta winning 16 of its next 22 games, catapulting the team into first place, and paving the way for the franchise’s first World Series appearance since relocating to Atlanta from Milwaukee (ultimately, the Braves lost to the Minnesota Twins in an epic 7-game World Series, one many still claim as the best ever).

The excitement for the Braves budding success - and Tiana and her Dad’s experience together on August 9, 1991 - created a special bond between the two. The next day they sat together on the living room floor and slowly opened every single pack of baseball cards from the “On Base” box, then rushed to the mall to buy a large plastic case for Tiana to safely secure the cards and keep them in mint condition.

Baseball, and collecting cards, became Tiana’s passion. From that summer on, all Tiana ever asked for - at Christmas, her Birthday, even Trick or Treating at Halloween - was baseball cards. She had her personal favorites (ie: Avery, John Smoltz, Greg Maddux, and any Braves player), yet she also liked to collect the rising stars from other teams because of the card’s potential worth someday.

Tiana had told that story a million times, although she never got tired of sharing it because it’s THE reason for her business - “Tiana’s Trading Cards.”

As a female entrepreneur in a mostly male-driven industry, Tiana always stood out from her competition. While this helped differentiate her, Tiana also knew this meant she had to work creatively to establish credibility with potential customers. Besides owning a small brick and mortar location in a strip mall in Atlanta, Tiana started organizing pop-up sales around the city where she’d mysteriously promote the sale of a specific collection, then show up with her cards (and collectibles) on a table covered with a custom printed tablecloth. This authentic connection with people earned Tiana new customers all over the city as her brand became charmingly known as “like a food truck, but for baseball cards.”

Tiana understood, though, this model wasn’t sustainable and she needed to ramp up her “Breaking” business.

Over the past couple of years "Breaking Sports Cards” has boomed as a way for collectors to buy a small part of an entire box of cards at a smaller cost, instead of paying for a full box and having to keep all of the cards. It feeds off the exhilarating, hopeful feeling one gets in opening a pack of cards with unknown contents inside.. Only here, a “Breaker” - the person who bought the box - LIVE STREAMS themselves opening a box, shows the audience the cards, and then sends them off to the winning collector.

Tiana’s been “breaking” to somewhat moderate success, but she’s planning to unveil a consistent nightly streaming schedule with a higher production value (3-camera setup) and local sponsors whose logos will be prominently displayed on the stunning custom logo tablecloths she’ll be “breaking” on.

To grab people’s attention, Tiana created a major “event” at the Culture Collision Trade Show in Atlanta where she’s planning to LIVE STREAM for 19 hours over three straight days. This stunt will introduce Tiana’s new show (and growing “breaking” business) to her local fans, create an energy for her social media audience, and ultimately connect the two.

Tiana can’t afford distractions, so she’s teamed up with us at tradeshow-stuff.
