1). What file format do you need production-ready artwork need to be in? For your artwork to be production-ready, it must be created as Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) simple shape vector art (commonly known as line art). [top of page]

2). What is vector art? Vector art (commonly known as line art) is made up of lines and curves defined by mathematical objects called vectors (thus the name). Vector art is resolution independent and can be scaled to any size (ie: as big as a house) without loss of quality. All text (fonts) must also be converted to vectors (sometimes called outlines, paths or curves) before uploading to our production department. [top of page]

3). Can you use my JPG, GIF or PNG file? No, these are bitmap files commonly used for website design. Our process requires an Adobe Illustrator file (.ai or .eps) created using simple shape, vector art. Some other common file formats we commonly receive but CANNOT USE include (but are not limited to) PDF, PSD, TIF, WMF, Quark, InDesign, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Simply put... the only artwork we can imprint with is Adobe Illustrator vectors (.ai, eps). [top of page]
